Tenkiller Ferry Lake officially opened in 1953. Strayhorn Marina was in operation by 1954.
Randy Rogers made his first trip to Tenkiller just a couple of years later and from then on it has been his favorite place in the world.
Randy and Shawna Rogers took ownership of Strayhorn Marina and Landing in January of 2020.
Lifelong residents of the Lake Tenkiller area, Randy always dreamed of spending his days on the water—now he does! As their friends began to retire, Randy chose to live the dream.
After over forty years spent in real estate development around Tenkiller, the marina offered new challenges and sounded like a lot of fun! When you visit Strayhorn, you’ll meet Randy and Shawna, and many days you’ll also find their adult children, Brandon and Raegan King and Zac Rogers as well as their grandchildren, Cooper and Karson, and the official Dock Dog, Scout.
